HERE YOU CAN READ SOME POEMS I WROTE
WOODS
I need rest, I need peace.
Take me to a quiet place, so the pain will ease.
You are my best part, you know my maze, you know the woods.
Make me clear my head, make me stop, make me think no more.
My fear will disappear. Your love is what my life is for; you know me well, you make me dwell, you know the woods.
May the water be clean and privilege us of what we need; of what we have.
This is what I always have been; but no one did I have to lead me the way, stay true to our raft through life; together we'll dive.
I was lost, but I found you; you know the woods.
SCARED
All over the world blood is shed,
It's not just one city, that turned everyone sad.
In Syria, Beirut, Kenya, Afganistan, Palestine, Iraq and many more,
I read, the peace has too gone bad.
Every day, every hour, every piece of humanity drops dead.
Floors and water have changed, forever red.
And here I whine about my problems, going mad.
Although I have everything, a roof, a bed, more than bread.
I'm fed up 'bout all the sickness that we've had.
There's always something wrong, always something to be said.
These actions are led by religion, but what religion encourages this?
I believe nothing better, here on earth, lies now ahead.
But will it be better if we all cry?
Be all angry and look furious to the sky.
One way or another we will all have to say goodbye.
Now or later, but it shouldn't stop us, to try.
This world is no longer, ours, yours, consisting of I.
This is a place in which innocents have to die. Why?
This earth needs something no money can buy.
Something unseeable to the eye.
Someone high, without lie, someone that could make us fly
through our lives, water the dry, make brave from the shy.
If we all can be free, who wants to tie?
Does it help to be afraid?
To be scared, change the way we played?
All music now to hear, with our fear, will one day fade.
Coz for my sins he has paid.
Every tear he cleared.
Shouldn't we trade?
We can all hide, disappear, everything will still collide.
What if we just prayed, put away our pride.
Turn us to the greatest to guide, set our own will aside.
We can provide this world of the solid truth.
Sooth, drift it with this tide.
It will wear white, beautiful bride.
We can't be forever scared,
We have to think of all the good we shared.
How once someone for another cared.
We have to be prepared, because he declared;
The end is coming soon, just when paired,
His Word is not like a cartoon.
Not all good, not all bad,
It is just the way he said.
Saved, we don't have to.
Not 'till our time here is due.
But while here, let us speak, say,
Let us be the glue, but really all we need is You.
Lead the way, then forever, now today.
Because life ain't eternally; His words are true.
We all will die some day.
Sometimes leaving is better then to stay.
Just know there will be something better waiting for you
when you go, and please do.
You are scared, I know, me too.
DRUNK
My memory has trouble keeping up with me.
Things I could first remember are now locked up and I can’t find the key.
What did I do yesterday? Who did I talk to the day before?
Is it the tall cute guy or the cool and smart that I most adore?
I tend to forget,
Although I remember stupid details of unimportant stuff.
It’s not meant to upset,
But some things can’t really be covered with a cough.
My mind is just a piece of junk,
I guess I’m just almost always drunk.
Drunk on hunger, nerves, on love,
Drunk on stress, excitement, all of the above.
Drunk on too much coffee, drunk on problems, moving on.
Drunk on not enough to sleep, drunk on worries, who lost? I won.
Drunk on social awkwardness, on too much sugar in my blood,
Drunk on not knowing what to do with my life, but;
Drunk on dreams, forever mine,
Drunk on rushing life, trying to defeat time.
Drunk on too much sleep, not enough food in my tummy,
Drunk on uncertainty, why we bleed, “Help me Mummy!”.
I think I know why all the ships sunk.
We are all just almost always drunk.
YOU UNDERSTAND
I wish I could sleep, deep in your arms, I could weep.
Tell you all about my pain and you will understand.
Hold my hand, look at me with your pretty blue eyes, starry sky,
help me up, so I can fly.
Float with me over pale white clouds, let me scream,
as loud as I can.
For no one will hear my fear buried inside,
but you will understand.
Your fingers touch my overheated cheeks and feel;
red is the colour of love, thought of high above us.
We get closer, together, a dove passes by us,
let me ask him: why or how, if it can go,
will stay low, here, by our side.
You understand.
So let me take the leap, let me sleep.
ALL WAS RIGHT
When I see what you have done to the world, do I see a bubble that consists only me?
When I hear your voice, should I run and try to put up my fists, try to be free?
I can’t say I like you; I can’t say you are any less than all I need too..
So here is what I’ll do:
I close my eyes and count to ten,
I’ll tell you to remember when,
We first touched and knew all was right,
All we really needed was a fight.
Then I fold my hands and pray;
For if you are to go or if you are to stay.
You will do the same.
If the love has gone anywhere but here,
We will know but I would need you anyhow to stay,
So leave me near, I’ll let you go.
